William F. Wagner

William F. Wagner, who is associated in business with William A. and Charles J. Erdmann, was born in Herman, this county, on January 1, 1876. He is a son of William and Elizabeth (Zimmermann) Wagner, who located in Herman township in the pioneer days and there the father engaged in farming during the remainder of his active life. He passed away in 1910, but the mother is still living and makes her home in Sheboygan. Seven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Wagner, five of whom are living, our subject being the second in order of birth.

Mr. Wagner was reared at home and educated in the district schools, after which he engaged in business. On the 29th of June, 1902, he was married to Emma Kohl, a native of Sheboygan county and a daughter of John Kohl, who was likewise born and reared in this county, and to them has been born one child, Isabel. Mr. Wagner is one of the well known and highly esteemed citizens of Erdmann, and has many friends in the village and the surrounding country.
