  • Ald. Wangemann - Explains why we do not need another "law" regarding cell phone use while driving.
  • Ald. Kleijunas - Says they need to make these laws because we "the people" don't have common sense to know better.

  • Dogs in Parks: Part One -- Ald. Ryan comments on how this subject was "beat to death" last year already; discussion on making resolution for Evergreen park only (removing Maywood). Vote taken.
  • Dogs in Parks: Part Two -- Ald. Kittleson recommends filing document, discussion continues with Alder Heidemann, Montemayor says which parks already allow dogs, Alder Wangemann shares enforcment viewpoint and how difficult this would be for police; Bouck makes incredibly snide comment about the police and Gischia is heard laughing his face off at Bouck's comment
  • Dogs in Parks: Part Three -- Alds. Surek comments, Bouck thinks we're denying taxpayers "the right to enjoy the outdoors" if we don't do this, Montemayor tries to make him understand (in vain), discussion continues
  • Dogs in Parks: Part Four -- Bouck bloviates, Alders Dekker, Verhasselt, Ryan, Bouck bloviates some more and admits he didn't even pay attention two, three years ago when this matter was hammered (noted by Ald. Ryan in Part One)
  • Dogs in Parks: Part Five -- Alder Wangemann comments that this is for people, not dogs. Discussion continues, with Mr. Montemayor also commenting, vote taken to file.
