Lack of Character and Integrity in Representation

I would also like to address my concerns regarding very suspicious behavior on the part of Kim and Mike Swisher.

As you are aware, I administrate a local forum titled "Sheboygan Spirit". On that forum I have been sharing some of my findings, as time permits. On August 23, 2007, Kim Swisher chose to respond to some of these concerns. I responded to her comments in turn. One of the concerns I had was regarding the use of an Active X control. These can be quite malicious in the wrong hands and their use should be avoided at all costs.

They have since changed things so as to now use Java. While Java has it's abilities to be used maliciously as well, it is more secure than Active X; however, it still raises red flags.

I must now ask you, if a government entity is doing everything up front, is honest and has nothing to hide, why the sudden switch when this knowledge was made public? Why the defensiveness? There is much more to this part of the story so please do read on.

In addition to changing the Active X control, upon public posting of some of that data I've been going through, suddenly Mike Swisher, Kim's husband, gets involved and all kinds of strange things begin to occur.

Suddenly, after my posting regarding a threatening letter I received and a very inappropriate, rude telephone call to my elderly mother at 10:30 p.m. at night by Mike Swisher, more odd things occur.

First, Mike Swisher comes into the forum in fighting mode. He's belligerent, argumentative, engages in name calling and overall seemed totally unhinged, for lack of a better word. The only time he posted anything that resembled civility was when someone started to fall for his lines and excuses; however, he himself took pretty good care of destroying any credibility he may have begun to garner by once again going into fighting mode at the slightest challenge of his statements.

Meanwhile, Kim Swisher, as an "alter ego" named dj53081, begins posting in defense of Mike. (And yes, I can prove that this "dj53081" is indeed Kim Swisher and will do so following.)

Now, while the postings are taking place on the evening of August 26, 2007, I discover some more oddities.

First, allow me to ask if you are aware that it is illegal to give false information to a domain registrar? Well, that is precisely what was done on this strange weekend of events.

I had looked up the domain while looking over some of the documents received from the open records request. As I often do for future reference purposes, I took a screen shot of it. Here is a screenshot of the registrar data for visitsheboygan.org before the exchanges that took place on Aug. 26:

Please note that this Tourism Department registered 3 domain names (which was also an unnecessary expense); visitsheboygan.com, visitsheboygan.net and visitsheboygan.org…

As you can clearly see, information was falsified, as we all know the Police Department telephone number is not 9999999999, nor is the fax such a number. That is reason for criminal charges from the domain registrar.

More than that however, this begs the question: WHY??? Why was this done? Why did this become necessary? Why falsify this information? Why were the changes made as soon as some vital information and statistics became public?

And most of all are these the kind of people you really want associated with the City of Sheboygan? Representing it to businesses and tourists?

FYI: I also have screenshots of the changes made to visitsheboygan.net; they are similar in that they changed them from being in the name of the Tourism Department to being in the name of the Sheboygan Police Department and also falsified the telephone and fax numbers.

In addition to this odd behavior, Mr. Mike Swisher also saw fit to take down his own business web site. Click here for the screen shot, please.

Again this begs the question, "WHY???" If his business was not directly involved in this matter, why did he feel a need to remove it entirely? What business does that at the drop of a hat? What is he hiding?

These actions boldly state one fact that should give us all reason for serious concern: THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED.

Please also note that this does prove that Mike Swisher is -- or was -- directly involved with the visitsheboygan.com, .net and .org web sites, as there is no way anyone can just go in and change registrar records this quickly without access to highly secured information. In addition, this was all concurrent with his taking down his own web site…

Ms. Swisher Openly Lies

I have evidence that Ms. Swisher is a liar. I could cushion that by using the words "mis-truth" but I will not play that game. What she has done is outright lie publicly. And this lie was deceptive and unnecessary.

Here is a post she made under the guise of "dj53081":

"uh? My name is Dave. wtf? You ok Jeni?"

Is that the way for a city representative to talk to anyone, no matter the situation? As worked up as forum members get at times, no one has EVER did the "wtf" thing -- and do not say I have to spell that one out for you; you will only serve to insult both mine and your intelligence.
